Voice assistants
Gemstone describes its Alexa and Google Home support as basic control: turning the system on or off and changing the colour. To link an account, you need to be the owner of your homegroup in the Gemstone Lights app. Full patterns and animations stay in the app.
Home automation
On the Hub2 controller, Gemstone offers drivers for Control4 and ELAN with pattern selection and RGBW colour control. The drivers come from DriverCentral and are installed by a Control4 or ELAN integrator.
For Control4, Gemstone lists OS 2.10.x, 3.x or X4.0, and notes that 2.10.x doesn't support lighting extras or advanced scenes. The Hub2 needs Allow Local Commands switched on, and once it's connected, patterns show up under Lighting Extras sorted by category.
