Gemstone Lights® in Gold River
Gold River is a village near the centre of Vancouver Island, about 90 km west of Campbell River on Highway 28 through Strathcona Provincial Park. When it was built in 1965, it was Canada's first all-electric town and the first with all of its wiring underground.
A town with that history deserves lights done properly. Gemstone's roofline system hides the wires, and the landscape lights run on buried wiring from a power box, so nothing hangs loose. Every install is done by a Red Seal journeyman electrician.

Heavy rain and snow
The Village lists average rainfall of 104 inches and about 5 feet of snow a year. The lights are IP67 rated with sealed connections.
