• Commercial track goes on the side of a building and shines at a 20° angle, for buildings with no roof overhang.
• U-channel track is very low profile, for tight spaces.
• Hat track mounts under the fascia with colour-matched screws for a built-in look.

Landscape and flood lights can pick out a sign, a tree or a planter at the entrance, and indoor track, strip and flood lights can carry the look inside. All of it runs from one app.

Match your brand, then the season

Every light can show over 16 million colours plus a true warm white. That means warm white on ordinary nights, your brand colours for an event or a sale, and a holiday look when the season comes round. Gemstone points out that colours can follow branding, promotions, holidays or community events.

In Campbell River, the Downtown BIA’s Big Truck Parade starts the holiday season. A building that’s already lit for Christmas that week does its own bit for the street.

Set the schedule once

Businesses tend to want the lights to just work. The app allows up to 64 timers per controller or group, including sunset and sunrise timers that follow the seasons, so the lights come on at dusk all year without anyone remembering. If you run more than one location or building, group control lets you change them all with one command.

Give staff access without the keys to everything

Access management in the app lets you give staff or a property manager limited control, without handing over admin rights.

Brighter where it matters

Gemstone notes that bright white lighting can help deter unwanted activity around a property. Use full bright white on entrances, loading areas and the parking lot side, and warmer light on the frontage.

Built for a commercial install

Commercial systems are hardwired to the building’s supply and run through a dedicated power box. The power box and controller go in a code-compliant spot that keeps them out of sight and easy to reach, which we choose together at the consultation. If a light ever needs replacing, it can be swapped on its own without disturbing the rest.
